Trinkets

Little odds and ends, including toys and ephemera. I'll mostly be posting nostalgic items I own from my childhood in the 90s-2000s. I've moved many times, so unfortunately a lot of stuff I collected is lost to time, but here's some stuff that's not!

My Sweetie Pup collection! The Afghan is by far my favorite, followed by the Springer Spaniel. My Sweetie Kitty collection! The cats are always difficult to find compared to the dogs. The inside of the previous keychain photo. It got all muddy while I was being bullied and shoved into the snow. v_v The drawing is of an original digimon I made as a kid named Lovermon. 😭 A Sanrio keychain I probably got in one of their surprise bags that I loved getting at the Sanrio store. I carried it on my backpack for ages because it was kind of inconspicuous. The back of my Gameboy, still with Pokemon Blue inside it! My very first Pokemon game, and the first (and only) video game I've ever been obsessed with. I saved up $30 to buy the game, and Squirtle was my first starter Pokemon! One of my childhood Gameboys, but not the first one. I literally only got a Gameboy Color because I thought I couldn't play Pokemon Pinball on a regular one. 😭 Back view of the Torrid Tunes promotional CD. Torrid Tunes promotional CD. I can't find ANYTHING about it online. Going by the logo, it's from the early 2000s during Torrid's transitional goth to rockabilly phase. I wonder if this is lost media or something haha. Some butterfly clip-style flower clips. Butterfly clips were everywhere in the 90s. Ryoko 3D rubber keychain, labeled copyright 1992-2000 Pioneer on the back. Obviously got a lot of mileage out of it! I remember that anime 3D rubber keychains used to be pretty popular, I'm not sure if they are anymore. 2006 Care Bears lipgloss I got as a Christmas gift. I grew up with the 80s Care Bears, and it was my absolute favorite show when I was really young. My childhood furby. They were incredibly hard to find when they first came out. We spotted this one in a boutique antique store, and my mom would only let me get it if I promised to get good grades in school. It was $70 whole 1998 bucks!! I felt lucky that the one that they happened to have was in the coat color that was my favorite. From a 1999 RoseArt Pokemon poster coloring set. My collection of gel pens from the 90s. These were EXTREMELY popular when I was a kid. I loved the Sanrio ones, which were super expensive. The pink and blue swirls one was my favorite. 2003 Simpsons mints tin. I used it to hide notes I passed to my friends during class. No cellphones back then, of course. Various 90s Pokemon figures. I LOVE the older pikachus and light up Tomy chansey, I remember picking up some of those from KB Toys as a kid. The others are Burger King kids meal toys. Pokemon magic 8 ball keychain with a necklace cord. Can't find any information about it or where it came from, but it does say copyright Nintendo 1999 on the bottom. 1998 Pokemon pen. Avon branded body glitter from 2000, in the classic y2k blue and silver. My mom used to sell Avon, so I got different stuff from the catalog over the years. What's left of my McDonald's furby collection from the 90s.
