An elf spends his years of beryn fin in spiritual preparation for [his moment of epiphany], receiving tantalizing hints and premonitions of its true significance... A few unlucky souls find that epiphany eludes them, usually because they're trying too hard to force the moment to occur... A rare few never taste it. Growing bitter and frustrated with the loving pity they receive from their friends and neighbors, the malawain, or 'unawakened,' often choose self-exile, leaving the world of elves to settle in foreign cities or wander as rootless adventurers.

Welcome!

Hi! I'm Nico, a senior citizen by internet standards, an artist, a TTRPG player, and an immersive daydreamer.

This site is still very much under construction, but I hope to have it up and running as my own personal little corner of the internet soon. :)

Since the inception of Myspace, something about social media has always made me uncomfortable. I do much prefer the personal websites of my childhood, and I am so glad that Neocities exists! Even when I was a kid, I spent an awful lot of my time doing "internet splunking", just digging around for cool, obscure personal sites. I've always found them very beautiful, as expressions of people and their lives. I still enjoy looking at random pages to this day. In that same vein, I'm putting out this small part of myself into the void. It's not flashy, but it is earnest. I wonder if anyone will dig it up one day too?

Updates

02/04/2026: Added a musings post about Nickellennium. I wonder if I should do an about me section or something for the site? Hm.
02/03/2026: Posted up a new blog entry and a new musings post about Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds (as you do). I'm very keen to add more to this site, I have soooo many ideals bubbling over in my head! I worry about not putting "enough" content for each post, but it doesn't really matter. I mostly just make the site for myself, but I'm extremely delighted if it entertains others. I really need to update that old image to the left (I accidentally posted the unfinished draft as well? Oopsies. Just been sitting like that for a few years now). I'd also like some sort of a video carousel for the site, but I'm no coder and it's not a thing that particularly interests me, so that's another thought for later.
08/03/2025: With my wrists out of commission, I've been spending more time working on my Al shrine. You can find it here!
06/21/2025: Finally added something to the characters page! I've really been wanting to create an outlet for my autistic character and worldbuilding ideas, so I finally made my first post rambling about my personal conception of Planescape's Nemausus.
06/08/2025: Added some more issues of The Waterdeep Web to the sessions recaps section. It reminds me of how much I miss playing that campaign ToT

04/20/2025: Added a trinket section that I've been keen on doing since I started cleaning up some old storage bins. Also updated the blog and a did a bit of housekeeping.

02/27/2025: More housekeeping, added some 2025 art.
